The Winter NAMM show always brings exciting news. This year the hottest new electronic percussion gear of the year is from Alesis. Have a look:

Add four drum pads and an optional kick trigger to your acoustic or electronic kit or percussion setup with PercPad. It's compact, easy to fit into tight setups, easy to use, and it contains sound perfect for accessorizing standard drumsets. There's more about PercPad here.

This eight-pad multi-percussion instrument features over 500 sounds and a three-part sequencer so you can play live, create loops and sequences, accompany yourself, and add texture to the band or musical group. You can also use the PerformancePad Pro as a MIDI controller for playing virtually any sound module, synth or software. Learn more here.

Perfect. It's a word that's thrown around a lot these days. But with the DM8 Pro Kit, you might just find it. The Alesis development team painstakingly examined all aspects of what makes a kit the best possible choice – all with the goal of creating the perfect electronic drumset. Learn more here.

Compact, quiet, quick to set up, with true, natural sound, the DM8 USB Kit brings Alesis quality to drummers and studios. Whether you need quiet practice, tracking quickly into software, or fast on-stage setup, the DM8 USB Kit is an ideal choice. The DM8 USB Kit is quiet, compact, and ready to rock with amazing sounds. Read all about it here.

New for 2011, the DM10 Studio Kit now comes with the StageRack. With the StageRack, you won't need tools to make most adjustments so you can spend less time setting up and more time rocking out. The StageRack also provides superb stability under the most serious drumming duress while taking up only a fraction of the space of an acoustic kit. Find a dealer near you to try the DM10 Studio Kit today.

Nobody has ever designed a headphone specifically for electronic drummers, until now. Meet the new Alesis DMPhones. Designed to offer great isolation, stay firmly in place on your head, sound great, and keep you cool, DMPhones are the headphones you’ve been waiting for. Read more about DMPhones here.

Alesis knows quite a lot about recording gear. This year at Winter NAMM we are bringing some of our best ever. Studios of all kinds have never been offered so much for so little. Have a look:

The iO4 is simply the most full-featured I/O kit you can get for so little. Four channels of pristine, 24-bit 48kHz audio I/O over USB, discrete-design preamps, 48V phantom power, MIDI I/O, Cubase LE and loads more. Get all the details here.

Mix the whole band, add effects, and interface with your Mac or PC. You heard right. The MultiMix 16 USB FX is a live and recording mixer with built-in effects and EQ that doubles as a computer recording interface so you can mix, record, or do both at the same time. There's way more to this beauty than we can list here so check out the details now.

Start taking full control of your favorite music software or hardware devices with the QX49 keyboard controller. 49 velocity-sensitive keys, 8 faders, 4 pads, Ableton Live Lite and USB MIDI are just the beginning. Have a closer look at the QX49.

Harness the processing power in your computer to create your ultimate guitar tone. Connect your guitar, bass, or other instrument to your Mac or PC with the GuitarLink Plus USB guitar cable and engineer the optimal sound with the included Native Instruments Guitar Rig LE software. Perfect for the studio and made for the stage, GuitarLink Plus works seamlessly with both DAW recording software and PA systems.
