Are there any special drivers or software to install?
iMultiMix 16 USB will automatically install all the necessary drivers the first time you connect it to your computer. (If you are using Windows ME or Windows 98 Second Edition, though, you may be prompted to insert the included software disc.)

Yes. iMultiMix 16 USB can receive stereo audio from your computer via its USB 1.1 port. This signal is assigned to the left and right TAPE IN channels of the iMultiMix 16 USB. (If another device is connected to these inputs, that signal is mixed with the signal from your computer.)How do I configure my computer to work with iMultiMix 16 USB?
First, connect . iMultiMix 16 USB to a free USB port on your computer. Then:
In Windows XP, go to Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on the "Audio" tab and select "USB Audio Codec" as your default playback and/or recording device, then click "OK."
In Windows Vista, go to Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel > Sound (or select "Switch to Classic View" if you don't see "Sound" as an option). To record to your computer using iMultiMix 16 USB, click on the "Recording" tab and select "USB Audio Codec" as the default device. To playback audio from your computer through iMultiMix 16 USB, click on the "Playback" tab and select "USB Audio Codec" as the default device. Click "OK."
For Macs, go to your "System Preferences," then click "Sound." To record to your computer using iMultiMix 16 USB, click the "Input" tab and select "USB Audio Codec." MultiMix 16 USB can accept 1/4" mics through its balanced and mono mic/line inputs or XLR mics through its mic inputs. iMultiMix 16 USB can also supply +48V phantom power to mics that require it by engaging the PHANTOM ON switch on the rear panel.Can I connect my guitar to iMultiMix 16 USB?
Yes. iMultiMix 16 USB's balanced line inputs for Channels 1 and 2 were made to accept guitars.
