The iO Dock II officially supports iPad generation 1, 2, 3 and 4.
The iO Dock II is not supported with the iPad AIR or Mini, however, many have used the iPad AIR and Mini successfully with the IO Dock II. Because of the size difference they will not sit perfectly in the docking station.
The iO Dock II works with nearly all iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches. However it is only officially supported on the four iPads listed above.
The iO Dock II comes with BOTH Lightning and 30-pin adapters to allow for use with both types of iPad cnnections.
Video output is not an included feature of the IO Dock II.
The IO Dock II is available in a glossy black finish.
Among a number of changes and additions, one of the top improvements is the higher-quality instrument input. This input is now a true high impedance, professional-quality instrument input.
The new iO Dock will come with an adapter. The adapter is used for iPads 2, 3, and 4. You would need to remove adapter for iPad 1. There is no adapter available for the iPad AIR or iPad Mini.
