Can I use the Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX to record directly to my computer?

Yes! The Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX mixer has a USB connection that carries 2 channels of audio from the MAIN output channel of the mixer to your computer. 

 

Can I record each input channel to different tracks in my DAW?

The Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX send a stereo signal - a left and right channel signal - via USB to the computer.  A single stereo signal or two mono channels (left and right) can be sent from the main output of the mixer to your computer via the USB connection.

 

How do I install and authorize the included software?

The Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX comes with Steinberg's Cubase 7 LE.  To install and authorize the Cubase 7 LE software prgram that comes with your MultiMix mixer, follow the steps suggested at the article located here.
