The latest firmware for the Alesis Strike Pro module has been released! This update provides improved overall drum and trigger performance, improved hi-hat pedal performance, as well as minor bug fixes. This guide will walk through how to update your module, as well as what to do if you get stuck.
Determine if the firmware update is necessary.
On your module, press the UTILITY button and press F5 to view the OS. If your Trigger OS and DSP OS are lower than v1.10 your module will need to be updated.
Download the update.
Download the Firmware Update v1.1 - Windows + OS X from the Alesis Strike Pro product page. You'll find this under the Downloads tab.

In general, the Strike module should have a consistent and working connection to your computer. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms like the ones listed below, do NOT attempt to update the firmware in order to remedy this.

This is likely due to a unique way OS X handles tracking old MIDI devices. This will not harm the Strike module in any way and there is an easy fix!
